An intimate look at the Woodstock Music & Art Festival held in Bethel, NY in 1969 directed by Michael Wadleigh and edited by editors amongst them Martin Scorsese. This documentary in a vibrant attitude of youth and rebellion and it also brings together super groups and artists such as Richie Havens, Joe Cocker, Santana, Ten Years After, Sly and The Family Stone, The Who, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix and many more.

Woodstock was a great commercial and critical success. It received the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature.
