Sharon Hurst – Short Curriculum Vitae

Sharon Hurst is a journalist. She wrote for years for a children's magazine, then moved on to writing conservation materials for a government department. She headed deeper into the world of publishing, becoming a designer/editor for a farm machinery journal for many years, and the editor/journalist for a Victorian-based lifestyle magazine. For the last 20 years she has been reviewing film, both in magazines, on radio, and online, running her own weekly review site (Hursto's five-minute films/hurstosfiveminutefilms.blogspot.com.au). She is a Member of the Society of Australian Cinema Pioneers and Member of Australian Film Critics Association.
