Greece, January 1824. While the rebellion against the tyrannical Ottoman Empire is on its third year, the English romantic poet, Lord Byron, arrives at battle-scarred Missolonghi. Desirous of joining the cause for liberty, Lord Byron selflessly offers his help to the Greek Revolution, eager to prove his worth and even die on the battlefield. But instead of a glorious battle he struggles against fever as well as his own demons.
The film participated in the 33rd Thessaloniki Film Festival 1992 and won the awards: Best Film, 1st Male and 2nd Female Performance, Photography, Editing, Scenography and Sound Recording.
