Summer of 1949: The Greek civil war is drawing to its end. The last rebels of the Greek People’s Liberation Army are forced to leave Taigetos Mountain and move towards the coast. During this hopeless long course, the rebels will fall one by one from the fires of the reconstructed national army and the armed villagers. Nasios, an eighteen years old young man, is the only one to survive.
The film won the Golden Prize at the 14th Moscow International Film Festival and three Awards at Thessaloniki Film Festival (1984).
