Werckmeister Harmoniak-2

Maria Fakinou recommends this movie:

fakinou"The Hungarian director sets a cinematic universe with imagery of exquisite aesthetic qualities. Long black and white takes, that resemble paintings, original characters, a respect for pauses and silence, a harmonious integration of the bizarre and the strange in a raw and realistic world. Bela Tarr’s film is both poetic and violent in a subtle, quiet way. In a similar way in which great works of art are imprinted within us.
