End of a hot summer. A group of holidaymakers continue their holiday on a beach. At this beach, where she was born, Electra lives in wait, alone, ignoring everything about herself. The wife of an alcoholic and mother of four children works at a factory in Corfu in the early 20th century. A fallen nobleman wants to marry the older daughter and take advantage of their few economies. So he kidnaps the daughter and negotiates the dowry with her mother. But the girl refuses to marry him when she wakes up to the fact that he is only looking out for his own interests. She then decides to start working in order to earn money to raise the child she is expecting. The film is based on the novel ‘The Price and Money’ by Konstantinos Theotokis.

The film won 7 awards at The Ministry of Culture State Awards: Best Picture, Best Screenplay, Best Actress, Best Music, Best Cinematography, Best Costumes and Best Make-up.

Irene and Stella are two sisters who grew up in the province and now live in Athens. They stay in an apartment overlooking a summer cinema. When he returns and visits them, the balance between them is disrupted. Stephanos convinces Irini to leave with him, and Stella, often hysterical, commits suicide.

The film won 4 awards at Thessaloniki Film Festival: Best Debuting Director, Best Actress, Best Cinematography and Best Editing. It also won the Best Film award from Hellenic Film Critics Association.
