Climates is a film about the end of a relationship. The couple is fed up with each other. While on a vacation to a beautiful scenic beach, they decide to break up. Ceylan’s film travels through different seasons and landscapes in Turkey, following the lives of the couple (played by Ceylan and his wife), capturing, through impressive camerawork and a slow but steady pace, the alienation and loneliness of modern life in the country.
